Lake Miniwanka ,battle river ,Saskatchewan river, Christina lake, Saddle lake ,Lake McGregor, Cold lake, all have monster reports.
Lakes of Canada, BC
Lake Okanogan, famous home of Ogopogo who has been spotted since Indian times and is known as a water spirit by the native people, "Naitaka", Natives and new settlers have been spotting it for ages and a fair amount of quality films are out there showing a animal of huge size, I have been to the lake and after reviewing it, it made me more consider that maybe people are seeing some real animal here that is not a large fish species likely and highly likely unknown to science of all the ones i have investigated, okanogan is one of the few that likely really does have a unknown species to science. .
Lake Kootney located in south eastern BC, this lake is roughly 104 km long and up to 150 meters deep and up to 5 kilometers wide, I have not much info on this lake a few tales of giant fish or serpent nature.
Lake Cowichan town nearest Lake Cowichan ,is one of the largest bodies of fresh water on Vancouver Island, The lake is located roughly 20 minutes west of Duncan along Highway 18.,this creature has been reported to be a monster with a mean streak and this creature goes back to Indian legends..
Lake Shuswap , this lake has Indian legends to it and modern sightings as well it has over 600 miles of shore line and a deep lake,located in south central BC lake monsters reported from huge fish to serpent variety.

Lake Utopia, mostly older sightings before a highway blocked the animal from going to the ocean and strange huge animal tracks looking like a large animal crawled across the land and entered the ocean were found also old reports make it sound like a huge eel or seal of some sort ,sightings still occur but rare maybe this was a real animal like seal and when the highway was built sightings slowed to near zero.
Lake dildo- pond lol ,this name sais it all ,rumors it may be a very large thrown away mutated adults toy lost on a tourist stint, anyhow even ponds have monster stories lol ,sorry no offense but a name like that has to have a joke made.

Ont Canada has a surprizing amount of lake monster reports and way more then what you would think, quebec later on even has more many of these I think I can explain most of them some though hmm i really do not know? Lake Temaskaming , Ottawa River, Gatineau River, Lake Deshenes, lake of Two Mountains,lake monster reports .
The lake Simcoe beast, a likely seal probably elephant seal,I believe there is also a movie made of this creature and more then several sightings, It is located near Toronto and from the reports , it is safe to assume it is or was most likely is a seal.
Lake Ontario, nicknamed Metro Maggie, has sightings from time to time, it looks like a water horse now even though Lake Ontario is huge and because of shear size alone the odds of someone even running in to the monster is slim, if their was such a thing and yes there are still a few sightings and maybe there really is some kind of water horse?
The lake is large enough it has a way to the ocean and maybe it is a known or unknown species of seal or fish etc,
Sharks have been reported in Lake Ontario as well, anything is possible in such a large body of water more will be said about this later on.
There are many other bodies of water with sightings, one story told of a man on the Ottawa River that told of a huge animal that came up and attacked their boat,The man the main witness was new to boating and he witnessed this huge black animal ,it was about 20 to 25 feet long he figured in length, he then said it came right at the boat and bumped in to it.
They witnessed what they think was a huge back about 2 feet out of the water and about 10 to 15 feet of its back on top of the water length wise they guessed, it must of been that long they guessed, the 3 witnesses were not that familiar with boating and maybe the size was exaggerated.
Lake Temaskaming ottawa river lake of two mountins lake dechenes, these bodies of water has lake monster reports of fish and serpintine kind as well as seal like as well, as other odd animals have been reported, or told of a large head of a giant rat looking animal was witnessed by a man in a canoe in the upper Ottawa river, maybe a seal or some large variety of Otter
Many years ago I witnessed A huge otter in Buckingham creek and another one in the Ottawa river, both were over 6 feet in length, the one in Buckingham was near 7 feet long , I know personally they can get a large size and rarely have I ever witnessed one yet I am in areas they live all the time and I know they can hide well, there was also a porpoise found dead after being snagged by a Ice fisherman, years ago In the Ottawa.
Local newspapers have told stories of a giant sturgeon being witnessed and numerous other stories of a huge monster fish or serpent.
Lake Big Rideau located off the Rideau river system nearest big city Ottawa Canada ,very few sightings .
Lake of the bays, Lake huron ,Niagra river, Nith river,Lake meminisha , the bay of Quinte, lake monsters have been reported all rare sightings .
Ottawa to Kingston Rideau canal.Rideau canal.,this one kills me in large laughter ,this body of water is one of the most narrow bodies of water you can find that goes in to lake Ont also the Ottawa river and the Rideau river ,it is drained in the fall for winter skating, like this imaginary tourist here encountered as the mighty monster gulped him through the 6 inches of water lol ,it is highly likely not real or misidentification, or could possibly be a mutant caused by tourist throwing in empty poutine containers and peaces of beaver tails dropped down the ice holes lol..
Lake ONT Monster.
Wait this same monster was reported at the mouth of the Rideau canal and several times in lake Ont in the 1800s to 20th century with the exact same description, there may have been at one time or possibly still a unknown giant throwback , I find it odd the reports were rare, yet exactly to the tee describe the same animal ,interesting, here is the description of the beast.
Mohagony to greenish black, 20 to 80 feet long ,slim serpentine in nature, these were reported by numerous wittinesses at once in some of the cases and makes you wonder, after all lake ONT is huge, deep and goes to the ocean ,especially long ago it may have existed.
The Lake Eric chomper and regular water monster, in 2001 it was reported a monster bit three people swimming in lake Erie, maybe it was a huge snapping turtle or some giant muskie went mad lol ,also there is the odd tale of a serpent type spotted in Erie ,you never know it is the great lakes.
Lake Charleston Canada On ,Not far from Toronto ,this is a very deep and big lake ,it has a few old serpent reports one was of the mega kind, like this beast above that has been reported around the world, ,in older days mostly, nothing of recent sightings that I can find for charleston lake , although a little known fact about the lake, it has big muskies in it, many years ago I landed a muskie over 40 pounds in the lake and very few people fish it except for trout and bass some what,sightings could of been from huge muskie or sturgeon possibly.

Lakes of Quebec and rivers with water monster sightings
Quebec is loaded with odd water monster reports, most are likely not real monsters I am sure.
I have visited some of the lakes , I will give you comments about those ones and about others from the Nation's Capital,Blue sea lake is huge and deep with many backwater coves, it is full of Pike and other species.
Most of the sightings are by local residents,I have never witnessed anything odd on the lake although I believe they are seeing probably a large species of fish more on that later, most of the lakes around this region have large fish in them.
Many other water monster reports in that region, 31 mile lake and several others have had these sort of reports and for sure almost all I am sure are caused by large fish more later.
Blue sea lake is located near the Nations capitol, and it has had plenty sightings over the years, I have been on it many times and I never witnessed anything, however I have met a fair amount of characters looking like they drank a few 24s on the lake on more then one occasion, maybe some of these tales are based on the favorite beverage of the typical male camper lol .
I am not really a drinker, I have tied on a few over the years on camping trips though and I never seen anything like a monster while intoxicated and none of the many people I have camped with have either, so I think the excuse of to many beers probably is used to much and if you think about it not many would see such wild hallucinations on just beer , who knows maybe they are seeing something?
Lake Massawappi and Brison and other smaller less famous lake monster lakes all have sightings, lake Massawappi even has a photo of a reported monster you can find just google it, it look odd like a muskies face almost, yet more eel like with a rounded face symmetry , of course the local business man managed to get a photo and he is in the tourist trade and of course this raises a red flag for most, although anything is possible and a fair amount of sightings exist ,even if the photo was not real it would not prove it is not there anyway and just because he is in the trade does not mean he made it up either.
Lake Memphremagog ,this lake is on the Quebec main border, there has been a fairly long history of sightings in this lake, some of the horse variety,I have witnessed a few films and photos that may be of some kind of unknown species in this lake,this lake is very deep and has a huge variety of cold and warm water species of fish.
It may be a Large fish in some cases, others it seem more like a reptile, this lake may indeed be a lake of interest in my opinion, it may have some other unknown species, however very unlikely , it is at least possible to consider, it has great size and healthy population of species of fish and could harbor a small group of larger animals.
There is pictures of this monster, some pictures seem to show it is a beaver, many sightings could be of over sized beavers, a few though seem not likely beavers, although one well known diver has went down many many times and over many years and he has never seen anything and it is one of those things you do or you do not.
Many years ago I went around a bike path and this amazing ring necked pheasant run right in front of me and shot in to the bush on the other side of the pathway ,I have been around the area hundreds and hundreds of times over my life and I have never before or since witnessed one , so I know from experience that even if you live on a lake or you live around a forest, it simply can be that you never happen to be in the right place at the right time.
Lake Pohengamook has had sightings of a large animal, I have witnessed photos of this animal and I think it is a huge known fish of epic proportions or maybe a unknown species of fish ,the lake is not huge,although it is very deep, this lake should be investigated more thoroughly, it is roughly around 9 miles long , I think this would be a fantastic place to search to prove that people really are seeing something, if a group of researchers could get a backing for a tv show documentary type thing for this lake Pohengamook then it would be easy to prove it or not to a degree.
I think a lake this size could be investigated well with proper camera, sonar , sound recording equipment and video camera surveillances in likely areas , if it could be proved with quality film that some huge thing is in the lake then it would show that people really often are seeing something, but a monster hmm?
They maybe could also prove there is nothing within good reason and show people often have to much doldrum in their life, if you picked in spring time and if it turns out to be a giant species of fish, I suspect if you found good shoals that they were known to spawn on or feed on depending on water tempreture, you then would likely have a chance of running in to one this or other times of year when they are active spawning or feeding.
On the other hand if it is not a giant species of fish then this may be useless ,most serpent variety sightings occur in calm warm weather in lake monster lakes around the world, although this is deceiving in a way because after labor day most lakes are baron and maybe giant fish or what ever they are may be often on the surface but simply no one is there to see them.
I have done much fall fishing over my life and you often see birds and other wildlife you would not see, I have witnessed large sturgeon jump in the fall and muskies as well and both these and most species are active in fall feeding heavy for the winter to survive the lack of availble forage, so fall would be a good time to hunt as well if it is a fish.
Also depending on local laws check regulations, if you tried to capture a Fish that size, it would easily gulp down a large sucker or other fish ,now only if fully legal, if you chum with large chunks of some of oily fish , blanket a shoal that drops in to deep water , with a 5.0 to 15.0 steel hook designed for shark fishing or very large saltwater species.
For bait all that is needed is a massive ball of worms and clams works very well ,or cut up fish chunks ,crayfish is also a very good bait, liver and many more,since you are interested in a fish 10 feet or more long , I personaly would chum with that other stuff and use a very large 2 lb to 5 pound dead or live sucker with 100 to 200 pound or more of low stretch line with maybe a shock leader of lighter test of mono or some would pick flora carbon to cut down visibility as well as allow free movment with the leader of lighter line with the large bait, you may sit days with ought a bite .
If this huge specimen of fish like wels catfish in europe and most possibly likely sturgeon in north american and other countries as well in Europe, if real she may finally find your bait and get ready to have your arms near ripped out, now much smaller bait could be used , in a documentary setting if you made the bait very large and something hits this, this would show the creature is much larger then a average lake sturgeon or eel or any other freshwater species would be and who knows wana wana doooooo dooooooo lol ,also much lighter line could be used , why take a chance if you used ultra heavy line then at least if you hook it you may be able to get it on the surface and show how huge they can get and not tire this massive beast needlessly.
Fish over 10 feet long have been landed on less then 20 pound line , the object of this is to make sure we can prove somewhat it is real and land and release it as quick as possible ,you could kill the fish if the battle went on to long.
Although not a complete list of all monster lakes it is a very sizable one and much more will be added over time.

Serpentine monsters of old have been reported in lakes and oceans and seas and rivers since man has been around could every single witness over thousands of years all lied here is many more lakes and other bodies of water to look at with water monster sightings?
Infact I have done some interesting research on extinct lake monsters as well, these are a list of lakes that had sightings from centuries ago but have not ahd any in some cases hundreds of years.
Which begs the question? Why if people make these up do they stop making them up hundreds of years ago? while other lakes continue sightings to today ,this makes no sence if they are all making it up?
It could be truly possible that some huge event may have caused some sea creatures to be trapped in some lakes and may have died off when humans first inhabited the region either by the fish supply being taken away or humans wrecking the animals spawning are etc, I write a peace on this i will put up soon and link to.

Lake Champlain, Newyork, Vermont, Quebec.
This lake has had tales for ages and some clear pictures and films even exist also sound recordings of a animal unknown to the lake that were taken by scientific researchers.
Oddly though native tales do not seem to mention this animal, although they do mention giant fish, however depending on sources some claim they did mention the beast, anyhow modern evidence including the famoous mansi photo , also over a thousand recorded sightings and probably way more unrecorded makes you wonder?
There is several fantastic films of the lake champlain monster ,one looks like a giant eel the other more like a large marine like creature both are deemed to be authentic and by good witnesses.

LakeTahoe ,very deep big lake in Nevada and even my favorite marine biologist of all times said that people were not ready to see what was below in lake Tahoe, rumors had it that Cousteau had seen dead bodies that were supposed to be in the lake.I doubt this ,all kinds of life like crayfish, small fishlife, you name it would pick at the bodies and not likely they could stay in regular form for ages, even with the colder water, no body knows what he meant by this statement and he was supposed to have dived in the lake and seen something odd or terrifying, maybe he seen a giant eel or fish? and maybe thought it would discredit his work as the most famous marine biologist and simply dropped the subject, many reports over the years some serpent ,some big fish, some sound like a seal ,the lake is big enough and possibly does have some unknown species.
